Philip Rodak was elected to the board of Swissesco on June 10, 2025. The association promotes Energy Performance Contracting in Switzerland, a model that allows property owners to achieve guaranteed energy and CO 2 savings without upfront investment, funded by the resulting cost reductions. Swissesco develops standards and acts as a collaborative platform for stakeholders in the sector.

Energy Performance Contracting offers property owners a reliable means of achieving guaranteed reductions in energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. Without the need for upfront investment or involvement in project development, owners benefit from immediate cost savings. The implementation is funded directly through the energy savings achieved.
Swissesco develops guidelines and standards to support the effective deployment of this model within Switzerland. The association serves as a collaborative platform, bringing together project developers, property owners and managers, consultants, engineers, energy service companies (ESCOs), investors, as well as representatives from cantons, cities and municipalities.
